چکیده

Angina pectoris is the most common clinical manifestation of myocardial ischemia and often occurs when heart needs more blood. The main goals treatment in patients with unstable angina are relief symptoms, slowing disease progression, reducing future events, especially infarction, death. This study aimed to explore literature regarding effectiveness nitrate beta-blocker drugs patients. search process was carried out on various databases (PubMed, Web Sciences, EMBASE, Cochrane Libraries, Google Scholar) risk factors overview acute kidney injury. performed using terms: (1) "nitric oxide" OR "beta-blockers" "morbidity" "mortality" AND (2) "angina pectoris". limited studies published English. Sublingual nitroglycerin has become mainstay for pectoris. drug can be used relieve or as a prophylaxis, namely before activities that trigger angina. Beta-blockers type symptoms prevent ischemic events through mechanism oxygen demand, rate, contractility. These work by competitively inhibiting action circulating catecholamines at cell membrane beta-adrenergic receptors. In conclusion, choices relieving symptoms.

Nitrate resistance in platelets from patients with stable angina pectoris.

BACKGROUND Hemodynamic resistance to nitrates has been previously documented in congestive heart failure. In patients with stable angina pectoris (SAP), we have observed a similar phenomenon: decreased platelet response to disaggregating effects of nitroglycerin (NTG) and sodium nitroprusside (SNP). METHODS AND RESULTS In blood samples from normal subjects (n=32) and patients with SAP (n=56),...

Calcium antagonist drugs in hypertensive patients with angina pectoris.

Arterial hypertension frequently occurs in association with myocardial ischaemia and is an independent and significant risk factor for the development of coronary artery disease (CAD), as is left ventricular hypertrophy due to arterial hypertension. The prevalence of CAD in patients with hypertension is high, while hypertension occurs in approximately 60% of patients with CAD. Myocardial ischae...

Effects of a new cardioselective beta-adrenergic blocker (tolamolol) on exercise tolerance in patients with angina pectoris.

The effect of oral and intravenous tolamolol on exercise tolerance was assessed in 11 patients with angina pectoris. Patients were selected on the basis of an absence of placebo response and the reliable reproducibility of anginal pain and electrocardiographic changes with exercise on a constant load Schonander-Elema bicycle ergometer. The effect of tolamolol on exercise time and heart rate was...
